I’ve been watching and reading the political circus lately, and I gotta say, this thing people call Trump Derangement Syndrome is real—and it’s getting old. Look, I get it: Donald Trump’s a lightning rod. He’s loud, brash, and doesn’t play by the usual rules. Some folks love him for it; others can’t stand him. Fair enough. But the way some people lose their minds over him? It’s like he’s living rent-free in their heads 24/7.
I’m not here to defend the guy or trash him—plenty of that goes around already. What bugs me is how everything gets twisted into a Trump thing. Gas prices up? Trump’s fault. Weather’s bad? Bet someone’s blaming MAGA. And now we’ve got people turning the American flag upside down like it’s some big protest move because of him. Seriously? That flag’s been through a lot worse than one guy’s presidency—let’s not make it a prop in this endless drama.
It’s like half the country’s got a permanent case of the vapors, clutching their pearls every time he tweets—or whatever we’re calling it on X these days. The media doesn’t help, either. They’ve got their clickbait machines cranked to 11, churning out headlines that’d make you think Trump’s either saving the world or burning it down every other day. Maybe he’s just a guy who won an election once and lost one later—wild, right? But no, we’ve got to turn it into a nonstop soap opera.
I’m not saying people shouldn’t care about politics. Care all you want! Just maybe dial down the hysteria a notch. Trump’s not the boogeyman or the messiah—just a dude with an orange tan and a knack for stirring the pot. Let’s talk about something else for once. Like, I dunno, potholes or taxes. Real stuff.
