John Corl Gram, 76, of West Point, Iowa, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at his home.
He was born on November 14, 1949 in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Robert and Voneta (Carpenter) Gram. On January 18, 1974 he married Nola Wagner in Franklin, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife Nola; three children: Robert Gram, Amanda (Dustin) Huebner, Jennifer (David) Bolen; grandchildren: Adrian, Jason, Asher, Maizzy, Nathan, Evonne, Ozzy, Elayna; two great grandchildren; and one sister Carol (Marvin) Newton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Pete.
John was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, and a United States Navy Veteran. He was a greenskeeper at the Fort Madison Country Club. John was a custodian at many local businesses. He retired as a custodian for Fort Madison Bank and Trust.
His body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz Funeral Home for cremation.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Schmitz Funeral Home in West Point.
