LEE COUNTY - The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Keokuk man on felony drug charges.
Mark Clinton Larsen, age 55, of Keokuk, is charged with: Delivery of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, a class B Felony; and Failure to affix an Iowa drug tax stamp, a class D Felony.
The charges came after the Lee County Narcotics Task Force performed a controlled buy of methamphetamine from the defendant, Mark Larsen. The Lee County Narcotics Task Force requested an arrest warrant for criminal offenses that stemmed from that investigation. Officers with the Keokuk Police Department later arrested Larsen on the outstanding arrest warrant.
The Lee County Narcotics Task Force was assisted by the Keokuk Police Department.
The defendant in this case is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
