The Boys wrap up OSA Summer Series

New bronze statue to be dedicated during Aug. 16 event

FORT MADISON - “The Boys” will close out the 26th season of “Music in the Park” Sunday, August 16th.  It will be a night of FREE Family Fun, with the Elks Club serving meals in Fahey Shelter from 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m.  Official Sponsors will be recognized at 6 p.m. during the band’s first break.  
TJ Gorham will be making free balloon creations for the kids and teens from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Grilled brats,  chicken breasts, jumbo beef and kids dogs will be on the menu along with sides, cold drinks and free cake for everyone until supplies are exhausted.   
A new copper statue will also be unveiled and dedicated to the City  by Kim, Paul and Rev. Bonnie Wilkerson in memory of their parents.  Paul and Rosie Wilkerson and Richard and Caryl Carver.

The Boys have a country flair and band members include Brian Peterschmidt on drums; Rick Holmes on the bass; Jake Burington on lead guitar; with Lee Klett on vocals and rhythm guitar; and Adam Klett on vocals and accoustic guitar.
