Tweedy joins GRHS' Keokuk and HCHC teams

Central Lee grad takes spot close to home

WEST BURLINGTON -  Philip Tweedy, MD, has joined the medical staff at Henry County Health Center-Keokuk Clinic.  
Dr. Tweedy is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He will see adult patients at the Keokuk Clinic, providing preventative care and management of chronic conditions.
“I enjoy providing care for patients from young adulthood to people in their 80’s, 90’s, and beyond.  We accumulate various health diagnoses as time goes on, and my goal is to help guide my patients through complex medical issues,” said Dr. Tweedy.
Dr. Tweedy received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Iowa Methodist Medical Center and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Des Moines. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Tweedy was employed for twenty-two years at the Hannibal Clinic in Hannibal, Missouri, before joining Great River Health. 
Dr. Tweedy grew up in Southeast Iowa, attending Central Lee High School. When not at work, Dr. Tweedy enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors playing golf or boating, and listening to podcasts.
