KEOKUK – The United Way of the Great River Region is now accepting grant applications for its 2025 funding cycle. Local nonprofits, community organizations, and service programs are invited to apply for funding that supports initiatives in the areas of education, health, and financial stability.
Applications are available upon request and must be submitted by Friday, June 6, 2025. Grants awarded will support programs that directly impact residents in the Great River Region, including areas of Southeast Iowa, Northeast Missouri, and West Central Illinois.
"United Way's mission is to strengthen the building blocks of a better life—health, education, and financial stability," said Mike Greenslaugh, Executive Director of United Way of the Great River Region. "This grant opportunity allows us to partner with local organizations doing critical work to improve lives and lift up communities. We’re excited to continue investing in programs that create lasting change."
Organizations interested in applying can request the application by emailing director@unitedwaygrr.org. All applicants must be able to demonstrate measurable impact and alignment with United Way’s mission.
