Task Force makes cocaine and firearms arrest

FORT MADISON -- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of Isaac King, age 25, on felony and misdemeanor drug charges.
King was arrested on April 24th, 2026, following a traffic stop conducted by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. During the stop, officers located a large quantity of cocaine and firearms. King was taken into custody without incident.
King has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance - Cocaine, a Serious Misdemeanor; Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, a Class D felony; and Person Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons, a Serious Misdemeanor.
The Lee County Narcotics Task Force was assisted by the Keokuk Police Department and the Lee County Sheriff's Office. The task force is partially funded through the U.S. Department of Justice, with funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy. The defendant in this case is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
