LEE COUNTY - Central Lee’s Kenna Sandoval was named the Southeast Iowa Super Conference’s South Division softball player of the year.
Sandoval hit .510 this season with a 1.563 OPS. She hit nine home runs and drove in 38 runs.
Sandoval was joined on the first team by teammates McKenna Fransk, Olivia Day and Jali Hawk.
Holy Trinity had four first-team selections — Sydney Jarvis, Cadyn Holmes, Kenna Gittings and Alivia Holmes.
Second-team selections for Holy Trinity were Ellie Hellman, Kara Lake and Makayla Simpson. Central Lee’s Elaina Barlow, Aubree Bunnell and Brylee Cook were also second-team choices.
Central Lee’s Macy Butler and Rayleigh Burden were honorable-mention selections, as were Holy Trinity’s Morgan Krogmeier and Izzy Behne.
Super Conference South Division baseball
Central Lee’s Blake Davis shared the player of the year honors with Notre Dame’s Eli Oleson.
Davis batted .544 with a 1.593 OPS. Davis hit seven home runs and drove in 32 runs.
Davis was joined on the first team by teammates Kellen Weber, Caedon Newton, and Ward Fraise.
Central Lee’s Mason Sanders, Brett Cook and Gage VanAusdall were second-team choices. Carter Ellingboe and Wyatt Day were honorable-mention picks.
Southeast Conference softball
Fort Madison’s Nilie Menke, Kylie Lumino and Lucia Darnell were named to the first team.
Fort Madison’s Ava Fuget and Jordyn Marshall were second-team picks. Emma Snaadt was an honorable-mention selection. Fuget, Lumino, Snaadt and Makenzie Johnson were named to the academic all-conference team.
Southeast Conference baseball
Fort Madison had two players named to the second team — pitcher Caden Rehm and utility player Owen Huffman.
Stefan Berlett and Reece Huey were named to the honorable-mention list. Karson Dixon, Noah Krogmeier and Nolan Lamb were named to the academic all-conference team.
