FORT MADISON - The FMAAA Art Center is excited to once again welcome the area's youth artists grades Kindergarten through 8th to display their work during the annual Budding Artist Show during the month of January.
A variety of marvelous artwork is selected throughout the school year by the area art instructors and assembled by volunteers at the FMAAA Art Center into the month’s exhibition.
The Opening Reception is on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1 pm to 4 pm at 825 Avenue G (right next to the Fox Theater) with kid friendly snacks and beverages free for the whole family. The exhibition is on display through Saturday, January 27, 2024 and is made possible by the generous sponsorship of Two Rivers Bank & Trust.
Other kid friendly activities will occur throughout the month. Family Fun Day at FMAAA is on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 from 10am to 11:30am for ages Kindergarten and up. Participants enjoy creative activities as a family. Pre-K spaces are available as long as the child is with a parent.
STEAM Day is on Saturday, January 27 with exciting classes exploring the intersection of art with science and technology for three age groups.
