Lee County EDG holds mock interview day

DONNELLSON - Lee County EDG hosted a Mock Interview Day Friday at Central Lee High School with juniors and seniors from Central Lee, Keokuk and Fort Madison. Each student was able to gain experience in the interview process with two local businesses. They came prepared with copies of their resume and examples of their work.

LCEDG had employers such as the Fort Madison Hospital, Keokuk Waterworks, Scotts Miracle Gro, Silgan Containers, Axalta Coating Systems, Keokuk Hospital, Siemens Gamesa, Task Force, Alliant Energy, Climax Molybdenum, Steffensmeier Welding, Pinnacle Foods and Lee County EDG participated in the event.

The students participated in the Mock Interview Day as part of Lee County EDG’s Grow Lee 12 Plus Employability class.

12 Plus is a class for Lee County students to learn what it takes to be a quality employee as well as what career opportunities are in the area.
