According to a report from the Iowa State Patrol, Luke Timothy Johnson was pronounced dead following the one-vehicle accident that occurred at 7:41 a.m..
Johnson was reportedly heading westbound and failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. He entered the north ditch and struck a utility pole.
