Marianne T. Kozak, 69, of Dallas City, Illinois passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024 at her home.
She was born May 25, 1955 in Riceville, Iowa, the daughter of Wayne and Frances Bonefas Klein. On August 26, 1972 she married Russell L. Kozak in Riceville.
She was raised and attended school in Riceville. In 1985 they moved to New London, Iowa. She worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Mt. Pleasant Iowa for 20 years. Later she worked at the New London grocery store and at Hy-Vee in Mt. Pleasant. In 2017 she and Russell moved to the Dallas City area. Marianne enjoyed crocheting, sewing and jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, her father, Wayne Klein of LeRoy, Minnesota, five children, Joshua (Ginger) Kozak of Ottumwa, Iowa, Amie Schmitz of New London, Iowa, Michael (Miranda Zobeck) Kozak of New London, Iowa, Christopher (Kirsten) Kozak of Chicago, Illinois and Amanda (Joe Eichholz) Kozak of Colorado Springs, Colorado, thirteen grandchildren, and eight brothers and sisters, Michael Klein of Elma, Iowa, Mark Klein of Riceville, Iowa, Joel Klein of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jeanne Kulow of McIntire, Iowa, Judy Green of Mason City, Iowa, Jeff Klein of New Haven, Iowa, Jan Klein of Dallas Texas and Michelle Cummings of Riceville, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her mother, her step-mother, Lavonne Klein and one granddaughter, Melanie Kozak. 
 The family will meet with friends Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City. A Celebration of her life and burial will be held at a later date in Riceville, Iowa.
