Blind has love for the city - Letter to the Editor

I came home to a flyer on my door with a smiling face, mayor candidate Melinda Blind. I have had the pleasure of knowing her family for 50-plus years. Her parents were hard working and they volunteered countless hours for many of organizations in our community. Melinda has that same love for her city.
Her qualifications to be to be our next mayor have been touted by several other recent letters to the editor and I agree she given more
time and effort to this city than the average person.
What do you think, Fort Madison isn't it about time to vote for a woman to have the gavel again? My dad was a veteran of the Korean War and he always stressed to my brothers and I to always vote no matter the election! Free and fair elections is why they served. Please vote on November for Melinda Blind.
