04/21/22 – 4:22 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 4800 block of Avenue O.
04/22/23 – 2:02 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Dakota John McKeown, 29, of Fort Madison, in the 2500 block of Avenue L, on charges of interference with official acts and public intoxication. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/22/23 – 11:10 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit & run at the intersection of 8th Street and Avenue G.
04/22/23 – 2:47 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 800 block of Avenue E.
04/22/23 – 9:00 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Bradford Evan Smith, 53, of Fort Madison, in the 2800 block of Avenue A, on charges of disorderly conduct - loud noise and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/22/23 – 9:07 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1700 block of Avenue L.
04/23/23 – 1:24 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 900 block of 48th Street.
04/23/23 – 3:40 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 400 block of Avenue E.
04/23/23 – 5:18 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 4500 block of Avenue O.
04/23/23 – 6:26 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 500 block of 21st Street.

Lee County Sheriff Report
04/21/23 – 11:24 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jenny Lynne Leis Rook, 36, of Keokuk, on a judgment hold warrant, at the sheriff's office. She was taken to Lee County Jail and released after weekend service.
04/21/23 – 4:00 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Sarah Danielle Rose, 27, of Kahoka, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for violation of probation. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/21/23 – 5:29 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of 320th Street and 260th Avenue. According to the report, a 16-year-old male juvenile from Montrose, was traveling south on 260th Avenue and slid through the stop sign location at the intersection of 260th Avenue and 320th Street, striking a utility pole. No injuries were reported. The driver was cited for failure to maintain control. The vehicle sustained minor damages and was driven from the scene.
04/22/23 – Lee County sheriff deputies had no activity to report.
04/23/23 – 3:55 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Raul Puente Garcia, 73, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a judgment hold warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
