Fort Madison Police Report
10/27/23 – 9:15 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 700 block of 13th Street.
10/27/23 – 9:15 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident at 13th Street and Avenue G.
10/27/23 – 2:35 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited April Lee Jacobson, 55, of Montrose, at 21st Street and Avenue E, on a charge of driving while barred.
10/27/23 – 8:20 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Timothy Kempker, 34, of Fort Madison, in the 3100 block of Avenue O, on a warrant for failure to appear – possession of methamphetamine 1st, and 2 charges of possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/28/23 – 5:42 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism at 15th Street and Avenue F.
10/28/23 – 6:13 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2500 block of Avenue L.
10/28/23 – 8:19 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 2600 block of Avenue H.
10/29/23 – 12:25 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Ty Edward Hancock, II, 46, of Fort Madison, at 27th Street and Avenue O, on a charge of driving while barred.

Keokuk Police Report
10/27/23 – 11:49 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the 1400 block of Main Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Mackenzie Lynn Sherrill, 24, of Keokuk, was backing up out of a parking space and struck a vehicle driven by Melanie Rae McCoy, 45, of Keokuk, that was attempting to park in a neighboring stall. No injuries were reported. Sherrill was cited for no insurance. McCoy's vehicle sustained moderate damage and Sherrill's vehicle sustained minor damage, but both vehicles were driven from the scene.
10/27/23 – 2:22 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Charles Heston Smith, Jr., 43, of Keokuk, in the 900 block of Johnson Street Road, on a charge of violation of a domestic no-contact order. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/28/23 – 3:10 a.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Kenneth Laverne Soper, Jr., 44, of Keokuk, on a charge of driving while barred.
10/28/23 – 10:43 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested Heather Marie Koita, 44, of Keokuk, in the 900 block of Johnson Street Road, on a charge of violation of a domestic no-contact order. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/29/23 – 12:40 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident in the 1000 block of South 10th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Francis William Wrieden, 27, of Keokuk, was traveling northbound in the 1000 block of South 10th Street when it lost control, drove onto a curb and struck a utility pole and then a guard rail. No injuries were reported. Wrieden was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to provide security against liability. Wrieden's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
10/29/23 – 8:09 p.m. – Keokuk police cited Tab Andrew Bottger, 51, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of South 10th Street, on a charge of driving under suspension.

Lee County Sheriff Report
10/27/23 – 11:44 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested John Mitchell Donahue, 47, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct – fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/27/23 – 4:23 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Dustin James Biddenstadt, 29, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittmus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released after weekend service.
10/27/23 – 7:57 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a hit and run in the 200 block of Kilbourne Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle owned by Mohamed Yousif AbdelRahman, 31, of Cedar Rapids, was struck by an impaired driver that left the scene. Abdelrahman's vehicle sustained minor damages. No other vehicles in the vicinity were damaged.
10/28/23 – 8:34 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Diego Henry Lozano, 22, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released after time served.
10/28/23 – 11:39 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Charles Heston Smith, Jr., 43, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of violation of a domestic no-contact order. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/28/23 – 2:48 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jamie Leroy Stephenson, 43, of Davenport, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
