04/06/23 – 8:15 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Robert Lee Dunn, 33, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 33rd Street and Avenue G, on a warrant for driving while barred. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/07/23 – 12:56 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 400 block of Avenue H.
04/07/23 – 7:48 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Buck Aaron Bruner, 36, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 20th Street and Avenue L, on a warrant for 2nd degree theft greater than $1,500 and less than $10,000. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/08/23 – 6:08 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1000 block of Avenue H.
04/08/23 – 1:34 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit & run in the 2100 block of Avenue G.
04/09/23 – 4:04 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2700 block of Avenue N.
04/09/23 – 4:16 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at the intersection of 28th Street and Avenue O.

04/10/23 – 12:00 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jayme Thomesa Jenkins, 36, of Fort Madison, in the 2200 block of Avenue F, on warrant for harboring a runaway against parent. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/10/23 – 2:38 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of Avenue G.
04/10/23 – 5:10 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 4500 block of Avenue O.
04/11/23 – 3:28 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident at the intersection of 17th Street and Avenue H.

Lee County Sheriff Report
04/07/23 – 12:29 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 3200 block of Hwy. 61. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Darren Lee Brickhan was traveling southbound in the 3200 block of Hwy. 61 when it struck a chunk of concrete in the roadway, disabling his vehicle. No injuries or citations were reported. Brickhan's vehicle was towed from the scene.
04/08/23 – 9:30 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Pele Oscar Wise, 44, of Indiana, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of simple assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/09/23 – 5:32 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies cited and released Jared Kyhl Brisby, 23, of Montrose, in the 1100 block of 255th Street, Farmington, on a charge of interference with official acts - bodily injury.
04/09/23 – 5:35 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 180th Street and Hwy. 218 N. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Richard Paul Steffensmeier, 94, of Donnellson, was turning left onto Hwy. 218 N. from 180th Street and did not see a vehicle driven by Christopher James Arnold, 34, of Ottumwa. Steffensmeier tried to change lanes to avoid other vehicles on the roadway, forcing Arnold off the road where it struck a reflector. No injuries or citations were reported. Steffensmeier was ordered to re-exam. Arnold's vehicle sustained minor damages; Steffensmeier's vehicle did not sustain damages; both vehicles were driven from the scene.
04/10/23 – 5:47 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident on Hwy. 16 E. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Harry W. Miller, 68, of Kahoka, was traveling eastbound on Hwy. 16 when it attempted to pass a tractor in a no-passing zone. The tractor was attempting to turn into a ditch, causing Miller to swerve off the roadway, colliding with the ditch. No injuries or citations were reported. Miller's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
04/10/23 – 6:36 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Madeline Marie Neff, 23, of Cedar Rapids, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/11/23 – 10:54 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Trenton John Atterberg, 27, listed as homeless living in Keokuk, on warrants for drug trafficking - 5GM-100KG methamphetamine and drug tax stamp violations. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/12/23 – 9:15 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Michael Tobias Cagle, Jr., 22, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on 2 judgment hold warrants. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
