Fort Madison Police Report
02/25/25 – 7:31 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 200 block of Avenue G.
02/25/25 – 8:16 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 300 block of Avenue H.
02/25/25 – 8:45 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Adam Ray Sutton, 46, of Fort Madison, at Hillview Village, on a charge of 3rd-degree theft. He was held in Lee County Jail.
02/25/25 – 11:39 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 300 block of Avenue H.
02/25/25 – 12 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Kaleb Russell Allen Duerre, 26, of Fort Madison in the 500 block of Avenue E on charges of interference with official acts, 2nd-degree burglary, 5th-degree theft, 3rd-degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.He was held in Lee County Jail.
02/25/25 – 2:18 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
02/26/25 – 1:40 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1500 block of Avenue E.
02/26/25 – 12:18 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Megan Jo Plowman, 32, of Keokuk, at Wever Junction, on a charge of eluding. She was held in Lee County Jail.
02/26/25 – 8:05 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 800 block of Avenue G.
Keokuk Police Report
02/21/25 – 8:49 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 800 block of Boulevard Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Jacob William Briscoe was northbound in the on Boulevard Rd, and lost control striking a porch on a house in the 800 block and then left the scene. The license plate from the vehicle was located at the scene with several other car parts. The vehicle and Briscoe were located in the 2100 block of Grand Avenue with similar damage from the scene. Briscoe was cited for OWI, failure to maintain control and leaving the scene of an accident.
02/23/25 – 1:05 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a one-vehicle accident. According to the report a vehicle driven by Douglas Kent Smith, 59, of Camanche, Iowa, was being pursued after fleeing a traffic stop near S. 10th Street and Main. Speeds reached excess of 85 mph. Smith ended up rolling his vehicle and being ejected. He was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to provide insurance.
02/25/25 – 1:06 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 3100 block of Plank Rd.
02/25/25 – 7:49 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1300 block of Fulton Street.
