Fort Madison Police Report
05/09/23 – 7:59 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft at the intersection of 27th Street and Avenue O.
05/10/23 – 2:46 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
05/10/23 – 6:40 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 3400 block of Avenue P.
05/10/23 – 8:09 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1200 block of 23rd Street.

Lee County Sheriff Report
05/09/23 – 2:54 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested William Elroy Frantz III, 50, of Fort Madison, in the 2400 block of Hwy. 103, West Point, on a charge of domestic assault - bodily injury - 1s. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/09/23 – 7:17 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested William Kenneth Lloyd King, 30, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment hold warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/10/23 – 8:20 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy. 61 and River Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Craig Russell Junkins, 81, of Montrose, was driving east on River Road and stopped the stop sign, did not see a vehicle driven by Ellen Norman, 62, of Keokuk, that was driving northbound on Hwy. 61. Junkins' vehicle struck Norman's rear passenger side door. No injuries were reported. Junkins' vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene; Norman's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene. Junkins was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway.
05/10/23 – 12:35 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Keoone Dewayne Walls, 24, of Minnesota, at the sheriff's office, on a temporary hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Fort Madison Fire & Rescue Report
05/09/23 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to five medical calls and one report of an arching wire.
05/10/23 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to three medicals calls, one public assist call and one lift assist call.

Those listed above are arrested on suspicion of a charge and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
