Fort Madison Police Report
11/08/23 – 9:42 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Robert Lee Heevner, 48, of Kahoka, in the 4800 block of Avenue O, on a charge of enticing under 16 – sex abuse. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
11/08/23 – 11:25 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Anthony Christoph Pennington, 21, of Fort Madison, in the 1800 block of Avenue H, on charges of possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd and possession of drug paraphernalia.
11/09/23 – 6:13 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in  the 2200 block of Avenue L.

Keokuk Police Report
11/08/23 – 4:24 p.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Dalton Michael James White, 23, of Keokuk, in the 1500 block of Des Moines Street, on 2 charges of allowing a dog to attack.
11/08/23 – 10:30 p.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Cornelious Tyrone Brewer, 32, of Keokuk, in the 100 block of North 5th Street, on a charge of driving while barred.

Lee County Sheriff Report
11/08/23 – 6:57 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 218 North. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Judith Marie Hatch, 64, of Cedar Rapids, was following a vehicle driven by Brianna Lynette Tweedy, 21, of Keokuk, while it was merging onto Hwy. 61 southbound when Tweedy's vehicle stopped due to traffic and Hatch's vehicle rear-ended Tweedy's vehicle. No injuries or citations were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
