Fort Madison Police Report
02/07/25 – 12:47 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
02/07/25 – 6:51 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1400 block of Avenue D.
02/08/25 – 3:08 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 800 block of Avenue G.
02/08/25 – 4:30 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Gabriel Hiram Helmick, 22, of Fort Madison, in the 2700 block of Avenue J, on a charges of arson and interference with official acts. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
02/09/25 – 1:05 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Alfred Isael Ahlberg, 35, of Ottumwa in the 1400 block of 37^th Street, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
02/09/25 - 10:18 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Ryan Blind, 40, of Fort Madison in the 900 block of 28^th Street, on a charge of OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
02/10/25 – 7:14 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2700 block of Avenue J.
02/10/25 – 10:24 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2000 block of Avenue M.
02/11/25 – 7:43 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1700 block of Avenue L.

Keokuk Police Report
02/10/25 – 4:56 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 100 block of N. 13^th Street.
02/10/25 – 8:21 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at N. 17^th Street and Concert Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Donald Wayne Boecker, 80 of Keokuk was headed east bound in the 1700 block of Concert. At the same time a vehicle driven by Robert Lee Rockett, 66 of Keokuk was headed southbound in the 200 block of N. 17^th Street. Boecker stopped at the stop sign but then pulled into traffic in front of Rockett who struck Boecker’s vehicle. Boecker was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic. No injuries were reported.
02/11/25 – 6:32 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested Michael Tobias Cagle, Jr., 24, of Keokuk in the 100 block of N. 10^th Street, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was held in Lee County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report
02/10/25 – 11:33 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Elijah Joseph Burris, 31, of Keokuk, at the S. Lee County Courthouse on a temporary hold. He was held in Lee County Jail.
02/10/25 – 2:59 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Devin Levi Spurgeon, 35, of Hamilton, at the sheriff’s office on a charge of OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.
02/10/25 – 3:38 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Payne Thomas Ritonya, 30, of Keota, at the sheriff’s office on a warrant for failure to appear. He was held in Lee County Jail.
