10/19/23 – 1:17 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 600 block of 2nd Street.
10/19/23 – 7:47 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Donald O'Rien Bell, 22, no hometown reported, in the 1100 block of Avenue E, on warrants for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/19/23 – 3:17 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1500 block of Avenue H.
10/19/23 – 8:02 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 800 block of Avenue E.
10/20/23 – 7:35 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Joshua Adam Bowen, 43, of Fort Madison, at 8th Street and Avenue H, on a warrant for 5th degree theft. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/20/23 – 11:23 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested John Jerald McKeown, 52, of Fort Madison, at 53rd Street and Avenue O, on a charge of driver's license denied/revoked – OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

10/21/23 – 10:25 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Sierra Rose Rube, 32, of Fort Madison, in the 1200 block of 20th Street, on charges of drug tax stamp violations, possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/22/23 – 12:15 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Paige Marie Hathaway, 18, of Fort Madison, in the 1800 block of Avenue F, on a charge of domestic assault – bodily injury – 1st. She was taken to Lee County Jail.

10/23/23 – 12:38 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested Dillan Joseph McCarty, 24, of Keokuk, at Bank & Main Streets, on 2 warrants for failure to appear/contempt of court, and a charge of driving under suspension. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/23/23 – 4:14 a.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Amber Elizabeth Wolff, 30, of Keokuk, in the 2000 block of Main Street, on a charge of driving while barred.

Lee County Sheriff Report
10/17/23 – 8:11 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested a 15-year-old female juvenile, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of simple assault. She was referred to juvenile court.
10/19/23 – 2:17 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested an 11-year-old male juvenile, of Keokuk, in the 2600 block of Hwy. 218, on a charge of 1st degree harassment. He was referred to juvenile court.
10/20/23 – 9:20 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Stanley Wade Slee, Jr., 39, of Wever, at the Des Moines County Jail, Burlington, on a court-ordered hold warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/20/23 – 2:30 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the 3000 block of Hwy. 61 S. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Stanley Ball, 74, of Montrose, was traveling southbound on Hwy. 61 when a vehicle driven by Jason Trome, 43, of Warsaw struck a trailer being hauled by Ball on its rear left side after attempting to pass it, but being forced to merge back into the lane by a speeding car passing. Drivers exchanged information and left the scene without calling law enforcement. Ball was later treated at the hospital; Trome was uninjured. Both vehicles sustained minor damages and were driven from the scene.
10/21/23 – 10:11 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at 255th Street and Hwy. 218. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Stephanie Danielle Gould, 32, of Donnellson, was traveling southbound in the 2500 block of Hwy. 218 when it struck the rear left side of a vehicle driven by Fanueli Byamnobe, 21, of Texas, that had been stopped at a stop sign on 255th Street eastbound and pulled out into the path of Gould's vehicle. Byamnode's vehicle flipped onto the driver's side and ended up on the southeast end of the intersection. Gould complained of minor injuries; Byamnode did not complain of injuries; both driver's were looked at by EMS on the scene; Gould was later transported to the hospital by personal vehicle. Both vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene. Byamnode was cited for failure to yield upon entering through highway.
10/21/23 – 3:52 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Chris Ann Turner, 39, of Fort Madison, in the 800 block of Avenue E, on warrants for possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd and unlawful possession of prescription drugs. She was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on her own recognizance.
10/21/23 – 5:02 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Charles Heston Smith, Jr., 43, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/22/23 – 7:00 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Timberlane Drive. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Richard Elmer Thye, 78, of Fort Madison, appeared to drive through the front of his garage into the back of a vehicle parked in front of a neighboring residence. No injuries or citations were reported. The parked vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene. Thye's vehicle did not sustain any damages. Thye was ordered to re-exam.
10/23/23 – 3:22 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Derek Wilson Tecumseh Lee, 53, of Keokuk, in Des Moines County, Burlington, on 2 charges of failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/23/23 – 10:32 a.m. – Lee County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the 2000 block of Hwy. 61. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Christopher Craig Bennett, 46, of Ottumwa was turning into the Scout Connection parking lot when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Ronald Wayne Prier, 52, of West Point. Prier was cited for following too closely. No injuries were reported.
10/23/23 – 3:11 p.m. – Lee County sheriff’s deputies arrested Thadius Pearl Hester, 42, of Fort Madison at the sheriff’s office on charges of OWI-1^st offense, eluding and driving under suspension. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.
10/24/23 – 12:14 a.m. – Lee County sheriff’s deputies arrested Deseri Laine Brown, 25, of Fort Madison at the North Lee County Courthouse on a warrant for driving while license revoked. She was taken to Lee County Jail and held.
