Fort Madison Police Report
01/27/25 – 9:10 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1800 block of Avenue H.
01/27/25 – 12:46 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 3100 block of Avenue H.
01/28/25 – 6:36 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Logan LaVerne Worrell, 33, of Fort Madison, in the 1200 block of Avenue H., on a charge of driving under suspension.
01/28/25 – 8:54 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the Fort Madison area.
01/28/25 – 11:56 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1700 block of Avenue L.
01/28/25 – 1 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Xavier Robert Cooper, 19, of Fort Madison at the Lee County Jail on a charge of a violating a no contact order. He was held in Lee County Jail.
01/28/25 – 1:11 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Dustin Michael Damico, 42, of Fort Madison, at the N. Lee County Courthouse on a warrant for probation violation. He was held in Lee County Jail.
01/28/25 – 1:38 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2800 block of Avenue N.
01/28/25 – 7:24 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1600 block of Avenue G.
01/29/25 – 12:21 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary on Oak Drive.

Keokuk Police Report
01/28/25 – 12:14 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a one-vehicle accident in Oakland Cemetery. According to the report, police were pursuing a vehicle driven by Adrian John Egley, 26, of Alexandria, Mo., Egley drove his vehicle into the cemetery and struck a tree. He abandoned the vehicle and was later apprehended.
01/28/25 – 2:29 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Cody John Lutzen, 38, of Keokuk in the 6000 block of Avenue O, on a warrant for 5th-degree theft, and charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was held in Lee County Jail.

01/28/25 – 7:15 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Concert Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Evelyn Deann Gilpin, 47, of Keokuk was backing out of a driveway onto Concert and struck a legally parked unoccupied vehicle. No injuries were reported, and no citation were reported.
01/28/25 – 11:13 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Timothy Daniel Washburn, 47, of Keokuk, in the 1400 block of Johnson Street Rd., on a warrant of failure to appear, and a charge of violation of a no contact order. He was held in Lee County Jail.
01/29/25 – 12:22 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested Kathryn Whitney Zellar, 40, of Keokuk, in the 1400 block of Johnson Street Rd on a charge of violation of no contact order. He was held in Lee County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report
01/27/25 – 2:20 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dakota John McKeown, 31, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff’s office, on a judgment hold. He was held in Lee County Jail.
01/28/25 – no activity reported.
