Fort Madison Police Report
03/04/25 – 4:06 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Kimberly Michelle Brewer, 44, of Fort Madison in the 3100 block of Avenue P, on a warrant for failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held in the Lee County Jail.

Keokuk Police Report
02/23/25 – 12:59 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a one-vehicle accident on J. Street. According to the report, police initiated a pursuit with a vehicle driven by Douglas K. Smith, 59, of Camanche, who then struck a utility pole and continued driving until he hit a low concrete fence before rolling his vehicle and was ejected near N. 4th Street and Orleans Avenue. Smith was cited for failure to maintain control, striking highway fixtures and failure to provide insurance. He was transported by Lee County EMS with injuries.
03/03/25 – 6:16 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 1300 block of Grand Avenue. An enclosed trailer was legally parked on Grand Avenue facing west on the north side and was struck by a vehicle driven by Todd Keith Woods, 60, of Keokuk. Woods was cited for failure to maintain control.
03/04/25 – 9:44 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested Thurman Purdiman, Jr., 58, of Keokuk, in the 200 block of S. 16th Street, on a charge of driving license being revoked or denied. He was held in Lee County Jail.

03/04/25 – 6:21 p.m. – Keokuk police cited Darrin Michael Fitzgerald, 23, of Keokuk, in the 700 block of Concert Street, on a charge of driving under suspension.
03/04/25 – 9:56 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Sophia McKenna Gregory, 26, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of Messenger Road on charges of 2nd and 3rd-degree burglary. She was held in Lee County Jail.
03/04/25 – 10 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Bradley Mitchel Longenecker, 55, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of 12th Street, on warrants for of failure to appear and pre-trial violation, and a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was held in Lee County Jail.
