Fort Madison Police Report
10/24/23 – 11:10 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 800 block of Avenue G.
10/24/23 – 5:36 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1200 block of 19^th Street.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report
10/24/23 – 10:13 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 3300 block of Arygle Road. According to reports, a semi trailer driven by Anthony Leo Logsdon, 53, of  La Grange, Mo, pulled into traffic westbound on Argyle Road from a private drive and was struck by a semi trailer driven by John Mark Hayes, 57, of Keokuk. No injuries or citations were reported. Both vehicles were privately towed.
10/24/23 – 2:51 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Alexis Louise Garretson, 18, of Salem, at the North Lee County Courthouse on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
