Fugitive arrested on warrant in Keokuk

KEOKUK -- On Thursday night at 7:24 p.m. an officer with the Keokuk Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 2215 Main Street.
Shawn Ryan Myers, 42, of Keokuk was arrested as being a fugitive from Justice on a warrant out of Henderson County for Driving under the Influence of Controlled Substance.
Myers was also arrested and charged with Driving under Suspension a simple misdemeanor and cited for operation without registration. Myers was held in Lee County Jail.
A charge is merely an accusation and, a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
