FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Junior/Senior High School is proud to announce that our students have attained a remarkable 796 industry-recognized credentials during the 2024/2025 school year.
These certifications, spanning the fields of agriculture, automotive, healthcare, culinary, and human services, are certifications or licenses that are widely acknowledged by employers within a specific industry as validation of an individual's skills and knowledge. Each of the certifications is also recognized by the State of Iowa Department of Education. Furthermore, they are a testament to the school district's steadfast commitment to academic excellence, career-connected learning, and extensive and expanding CTE instruction.
Career and Technical Education teachers at FMJSHS have implemented detailed lesson plans that connect daily classroom activities to long-term career goals.
