Last month, T-Mobile announced year two of its commitment to small-town sports by announcing $4 million in total prizes — including a grand prize football field technology makeover — as part of this nationwide campaign. In total, T-Mobile will award:
• One $1 million grand prize for a complete field tech upgrade, a renovated weight room from Gronk Fitness, an all-expense-paid trip to the SEC Championship and more
• 25 $25,000 finalist prizes for football programs
• 450 $5,000 prizes for schools (weekly winners announced until Sept. 12)
These schools are now in the running for the $1 million grand prize, which would transform the school’s football experience and ultimately benefit the entire community.
Community engagement is key to winning the grand prize! The more local participation the more it can help elevate their chances of winning.
Across Iowa, 40 schools and counting have signed up, but we would love for more schools to join in. The submission deadline is September 12, 2025. The top 25 finalists will be announced on Sept. 25, and public voting will begin. Learn more at: www.FridayNight5GLights.com.
