Donna Jean Knox, 65, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 3:52 p.m. on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born on June 28, 1957 in Fort Madison, IA to Kenneth & Doris Carter Holtkamp. She was a nurse for many years in Fort Madison and the surrounding area. She loved John Wayne, matching games on her cell phone, reading and spending time with her family. She shared a love of Star Wars with her grandson, Kyle. She was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys & Iowa Hawkeye Fan.
Donna is survived by: 3-daughters: Samantha (Paries Peacock) Knox of Jacksonville, IL, Teresa Knox of Fort Madison, IA & Kimberley Knox of Fort Madison, IA; 1-grandson: Kyle White of Jacksonville, IL; 1-brother: Steve (Marlene) Holtkamp of Irving, TX; 3-sisters: Deb (Don) Horton of Fort Madison, IA, Denise Peacock of East Texas, Deanna (Richard) Rankin of East Texas; 1-sister in law: Barbara Holtkamp of the Dallas, Texas metro area; several nieces, nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by: her parents, step father: Lyle Roovaart, 2-brothers: Scott & Stanley Holtkamp, 1-brother-in-law: Moe Peacock, 1-sister in law: Mardema Corns and her mother-in-law: Sarah Knox.
