King-Lynk Funeral Home obituary - H. Everett Mungan, 83, Fort Madison

H. Everettt Mungan, 83 of Ft. Madison passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at his home.
He was born on February 27, 1941 in Lynn, MA to Harold Everett and Lucy Alley Mungan.  On July 24, 1965 he married Mildred Kissler in Weatherford OK.  Everett worked for AT & T and retired after several years of service.  Following retirement he work for J & S Electronics and then Hy-Vee.  Everett was a member of Madison Baptist Church where he was very involved in Bible Study and also taught Sunday School.  He served in the US Navy from 1959-1963 and also enjoyed doing yardwork.
Survivors include his wife, Millie Mungan of Ft. Madison and one sister, Deborah (David) Wybenga of Rock Hills, SC he was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Michelle; his son, Jim and two brothers, James Henry and John David.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 11 AM at Madison Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Gnann officiating.  The family will meet with friends from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
