Henry C. Becerra, 91 of Ft. Madison passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 12:02 PM at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
He was born on May 26, 1932 in Ft. Madison to Enrique and Frances Winkler Becerra. On June 11, 1966 he married Bernadine Nolte in Ft. Madison and she passed away on October 6, 2005. Henry worked at Anchor Metals and also scrapped metal. Henry enjoyed gardening, sewing, carving wood and spending time with his family.
Survivors include one daughter, June Shoup of T. Madison; three sons, Henry (Cindy) Becerra Jr, Carl Becerra and Walter (Mandy Allen) Becerra and all of Ft. Madison; eight grandchildren, Bernadine, Heather, Jessica, Afton, Natalie, Doug, Brandon and Rick; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Rudi Castagna of Ft. Madison and Petra (Gerald) Leafgreen of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; one brother, Arnuflo (Darlene) Becerra of Ft. Madison; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Josh; two sisters, Natalia and Elissa and one brother, Brigido “Brick”
