William J. “Bill” Anderson, Jr, 65 of Ft. Madison passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 5:45 PM at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
He was born on September 23, 1958 in Ft. Riley, KS to Bill and Betty Ullrich Anderson, Sr. Bill was a self employed paint contractor. Bill graduated from FMHS in 1977 and then graduated from the University of Iowa in 1981. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Burlington Bees fan. The family would like to extend their gratitude and special thank you to the staff in ICU at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center for the care they provided to Bill.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Anderson of Ft. Madison; three brothers, Bruce Anderson of Dallas City, IL, Brian Anderson of Cedar Rapids and Brad (Amy) Anderson of Columbia, MO and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be no formal services, the family will have a private burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
