Reader thanks pickleball effort

Dear Editor:

I would like to thank the individuals who contributed in
any way to help bring the new pickleball court to Fort
Madison.
Last weekend, my family and I had the opportunity to
enjoy the new pickleball court, and it was an absolute
delight to see it bustling with activity. The court was
filled to capacity, and what struck me most was the
significant number of visitors from neighboring towns.
Just this week I picked up my grandson from the
court, and to my surprise, even at 10:00 PM, it was
still packed with players. Word has spread about how
much fun pickle-ball can be.
We are fortunate to have a top-notch pickle-ball court
in Fort Madison. I hope the court continues to be a
vibrant hub where people of all ages and
backgrounds can come together, socialize, and
engage in friendly competition.
Once again, I extend my thanks to everyone involved
in making this project a reality. Their dedication has
given us a facility that we can cherish for years to
come.
