Roberts joins SEIRMC staff in WB

WEST BURLINGTON – Jeffrey ‘Cole’ Roberts, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, has joined Family Medicine-Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Cole began his healthcare career at Great River Health as an Emergency Medical Technician and a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Emergency Department. He then went back to school and graduated from Iowa Wesleyan University with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree and continued working in the Emergency Department as a registered nurse. From there, Cole completed his Master of Nursing in Education from the University of Iowa and taught for fourteen years at Southeastern Community College. Wanting to get back into direct patient care, he graduated from Chamberlain University with his Family Nurse Practitioner degree, coming back to Great River Health to join the Family Medicine team.
“I want to be able to take care of patients of all ages in our communities, establishing a relationship with them to serve all of their health care needs. I understand health complexities and find it most rewarding to see positive improvements in my patients’ health,” expressed Roberts.
Cole has lived and worked in the area his entire life, “Great River (Health) has always been a part of my life.”
When not at work, he likes spending time with his family enjoying time outdoors and attending sporting events.
