Sheriff investigating morning fatality in Denmark

MONTROSE – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred today in Denmark, Iowa.
Deputies, along with fire and medical personnel, were dispatched to Denmark, Iowa, at approximately 7:33 a.m. for an unresponsive female. The Lee County Medical Examiner pronounced the woman deceased at the scene, and family has been notified. The incident is currently under investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa DPS. No additional information will be provided at this time.
