Fort Madison Police report

03/05/19 - 6:31 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a vandalism on Sunnyside Drive.

03/05/19 - 9:14 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident at the intersection of 10th Street and Avenue G.

03/05/19 - 9:55 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Kyle Jacob Rico, 20, of Davenport, in the 5900 block of Avenue O on a warrant out of Davenport for probation violation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

03/05/19 - 9:55 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Andrew Mark Combs, 21, of Davenport, in the 5900 block of Avenue O, on a warrant for escape. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

03/05/19 - 3:52 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen bicycle in the 2200 block of Avenue D.

Lee County Sheriff's report

03/05/19 - 3:02 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Anthony Beau Wilmot, 41, of Wever, in the 1600 block if 365th Avenue, on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine less than 5 grams. He was released on bond.

03/05/19 - 4:04 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 2. A vehicle driven by Zeke Nathanial Happs, 17, of Donnellson was traveling east bound on Hwy 2 and slowed to make a right hand turn into a residential driveway. A vehicle driven by Hannah Rayne Leech, 15, of Donnellson failed to slow and ran into the rear end of Happs' vehicle, pushing the vehicle down an embankment into the timber. No injuries were reported at the scene. Leech was cited for failure to maintain control.

03/05/19 - 10:22 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Junior Thompson, 46, of Oneida, Ill., at the the intersection of 340th Street and Hwy. 61 on a charge of failure to maintain control. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
