Fort Madison Police Report

09/23/19 - 7:13 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 3400 block of Avenue N.

09/23/19 - 7:37 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 2600 block of Avenue H.

09/23/19 - 12:19 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 1800 block of Avenue B.

09/23/19 - 2:34 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft on Iris Lane.

09/24/19 - 3:16 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 900 block of Avenue G

09/24/19 - 5:07 a.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Jazlynn Arlette Wilkerson, 37, of Fort Madison in the 1500 block of Avenue H on a charge of driving under suspension. She was released upon citation.

Lee County Sheriff's Report

09/23/19 - 12:19 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 18th Street and Avenue B. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Bryan Dean Bachman, 62, of Fort Madison was struck when a vehicle driven by Randy Lee McFarland, 68, of Bloomfield backed up and the trailer he was towing struck Bachman's vehicle. Both vehicles were driven from the seen and no injuries or citations were reported.

09/23/19 - 12:52 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jodie Diane Johnson, 41, of Fort Madison in the 2500 block of 255th Street in Montrose on a charge of violation of probation. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

09/23/19 - 3:56 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lance Iric William Kay, 28, of Keokuk, at the intersection of 18th Street and Orleans Avenue on a warrant for contempt of court. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

09/23/19 - 6:28 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kenneth Linn Alvis, 49, of Keokuk, no location given, on a charge of driving while barred and judgment hold. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until proven and guilty in a court of law.
