FORT MADISON – As with everything else in 2020, a new way has been found to hold on to old traditions.
The annual Holy Trinity Catholic God’s Portion Day will be held virtually this year on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 1 to 10 p.m.
This year’s event has some of the old flares from Rita Holtkamp’s fresh baked cinnamon roles, rolled in with some new things like new Traeger Grill donated by Mohrfeld Electric and Green Oak Development, all part of the new format that will be conducted through Sullivan Auctioneers, and Proxybid.
An online silent auction will be conducted from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and then the real-time live auction will kick in from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
Those wanting to participate can go to sullivanauctioneers to register with Proxybid, or click this link: https://www.proxibid.com/Sullivan-Auctioneers-LLC/Virtual-Live-Holy-Trinity-God-s-Portion-Day/event-catalog/187999
