Fort Madison Police Report
10/29/20 – 8:36 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1400 block of 38th Street.
10/29/20 – 8:55 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 400 block of Avenue H.
10/29/20 – 7:41 p.m. – Fort Madison Police cited Heather Stiegowski, 40, of Fort Madison, in the 23rd Avenue and Avenue J, on a charge of driving while suspended.
10/29/20 – 8:48 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Catherine Lynn Talton, of Columbus, Ohio, in the 5000 block of Avenue O, on a warrant for perjury. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/30/20 – 12:25 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2800 block of Avenue L.
10/31/20 – 10:25 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 2000 block of 35th Street.
10/31/20 – 11:03 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 3200 block of Avenue L.
10/31/20 – 11:50 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of Avenue F.
11/01/20 – 1:09 a.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Dylan Martin, 25, of Burlington, in the 1100 block of 23rd Street on charges of public intoxication, interference, and 4th degree criminal mischief. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
11/01/20 – 1:30 a.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Chase Paul Beach, 24, of Fort Madison in the 1200 block of Avenue H, on a warrant for willfull injury. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
11/01/20 – 4:08 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism on Richards Drive.
11/01/20 – 9:31 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2800 block of Avenue N.
11/01/20 – 11:33 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2200 block of Avenue F.
11/01/20 – 1:39 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Cody Alexander Briggs, 31, of Fort Madison in the 2000 block of Avenue M, on a charge of public intoxication. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report
10/29/20 – 9:01 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 2500 block of Hwy. 61. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Robin Harrison, 59 of Wever, changed lanes striking a vehicle driven by Michael Anthony Bollin, 71, of Keokuk. Harrison was cited for improper lane change. Medical attention was declined at the scene.
10/29/20 – 9:14 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bradley Michael Dettmers, Jr., at the sheriff’s office on a warrant for probation violation. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/29/20 – 2:54 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies cited Charles Joseph Lozano, 42, of Fort Madison, no location given, on charges of failure to appear and driving under suspension.
10/29/20 – 4:39 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2800 block of 213th Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Christine Rae Williams, 41, of Ellsworth, lost control and swerved off the right shoulder headed southbound, overcorrected and entered the left shoulder before heading into the ditch. Upon investigation, the driver was not located, but Williams contacted sheriff’s deputies later in the day to report several deer had run in front of her causing the accident. No injuries or citations were reported.
10/29/20 – 7:00 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the Sinclair station in Denmark. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Penny Jean Lloyd, 59, of West Point, was cited for backing into a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported.
10/30/20 – 8:47 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jacob Michael Vawter, 27, of Quincy, at the Marion County Jail, on warrants for failure to appear and violation of parole. He was held in custody.
10/31/20 – 10:41 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Amanda Sue Dresser, 36, of Keokuk, at the sheriff’s office on a charge of 4th-degree criminal mischief. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.
11/02/20 – 7:44 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies cited Le’Terrius Darrell Carter, 30, of Burlington, near the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Hwy. 16, on charges of driving while barred and possession of a controlled substance.

Hancock County Sheriff’s Report
10/28/20 – Zachary R Miller, age 18, of Hamilton, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear/ Failure to Pay on original charges of Disorderly Conduct. Miller was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
10/28/20 – Jonathan WK Newlon, age 22, of Hamilton, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear I Failure to Pay on original charges of Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Newlon was released on his own recognizance and given a future court date.
10/28/20 – Ryan R Yelton, age 36, of Carthage, IL was arrested and charged with Driving While License Revoked and Illegal Transportation of Cannabis. Yelton was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
10/30/20 – Douglas G Evans, age 59, of Hamilton, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Petition to Revoke or Modify Sentence Probation Violation on original charges of Burglary and Criminal Trespass to Real Property. Evans was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
10/30/20 – James M Faulkner, age 48, of Carthage, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear I Failure to Pay on original charges of Driving While License Suspended and Operating Uninsured Vehicle. Faulkner was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
10/30/20 – Mary C Grove, age 60, Warsaw, IL was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended. Grove was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
10/30/20 – Ryan A Brewer, age 31, of Quincy, IL was arrested on an Adams County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Retail Theft. Brewer was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
10/30/20 – Valerie J Zimmer, age 54, Hamilton, IL was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Driving While License Suspended. Zimmer was also arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on original charges of
Operating Uninsured Vehicle, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Driving in the Wrong Lane and Driving While License Suspended. Zimmer was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
10/31/20 – Stephen M Crowder, age 38, of West Point, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear/ Failure to Pay on original charges of Domestic Battery. Crowder was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
11/01/20 – Todd K Smith, age 53, of Warsaw, IL was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. Smith was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
11/01/20 – Drake M Huffman, age 19, of Keokuk, IA was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Violation of Bail bond for original charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance. Huffman remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his initial court appearance.
