12/22/21 – 12:00 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Jeremy Abraham Atwater, 32, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 25th Street and Avenue L, on a charge of driving while barred.
12/22/21 – 12:00 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Herbert James Moeller, 81, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 18th Street and Avenue L, on a charge of driving under suspension.
12/22/21 – 2:44 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 300 block of Avenue H.
12/22/21 – 9:12 p.m. Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 800 block of Avenue E.
12/23/21 – 1:10 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Maria A. Stanbary, 40, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 4th Street and Avenue H, on a charge of driving under suspension.
12/23/21 – 1:43 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Gene Allen Green, Jr., 60, of Fort Madison, in the 1200 block of 38th Street, on charges of felon in control of a firearm and reckless use of firearm – no injuries/damage. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/23/21 – 4:27 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Cody Lee Jurgens, 28, of Fort Madison, in the 400 block of Avenue H, on a charge of assault of a law officer/others – no injuries. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/24/21 – 7:17 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Casey Alexander Coleman, 20, of Fort Madison, in the 1000 block of 18th Street, on a charge of driving under suspension.
12/24/21 – 7:17 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident at the intersection of 18th Street and Avenue J.
12/24/21 – 10:58 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident at the intersection of 16th Street and Avenue H.
12/24/21 – 11:12 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 3400 block of Avenue L.
12/24/21 – 1:15 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Julyla Lyn Reiner, 42, of Fort Madison, in the 1800 block of Avenue H, on a charge of driving under suspension.
12/24/21 – 7:55 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Matthew Mark Andries, 33, of Fort Madison, in the 600 block of Avenue E, on a Des Moines County warrant for failure to appear. He was transferred to Des Moines County.
12/25/21 – 2:36 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Elizabeth Norine Bowen, 39, of Fort Madison, in the 3400 block of Avenue N, on a charge of domestic assault – bodily injury. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/25/21 – 2:36 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Camero James Floyd, 38, of Fort Madison, in the 3400 block of Avenue N, on a charge of domestic assault – bodily injury. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/26/21 – 10:34 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Brandon Ray Raszler, 30, of Fort Madison, in the 1800 block of Avenue H, on a charge of driving while barred.
12/26/21 – 11:52 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Joseph Theodore Gene Gray, 37, of Fort Madison, in the 2200 block of Avenue L, on a charge of driving under suspension.
12/26/21 – 5:10 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1400 block of Avenue F.
12/27/21 – 3:51 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 600 block of Avenue E.
12/27/21 – 6:25 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit & run in the 3200 block of Avenue L.
12/27/21 – 11:30 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Alyssa Blair Hardy, 32, of Fort Madison, in the 300 block of Denmark Hilltop, on a charge of driving while barred.

Lee County Sheriff report
12/22/21 – 10:59 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a three-vehicle accident in the 2800 block of Hwy. 27. According to the report, a vehicle traveling north on Hwy. 27 at a high rate of speed and swerving between lanes when it braked suddenly and made a right turn onto 285th Street. A vehicle driven by James A. Koke, 51, of Gretna, NE, tried to avoid colliding with the vehicle and applied its brakes, slowing quickly. The vehicle driven by Phillip John Ruch, 71, of Carroll, could not slow down in time to avoid colliding with Koke’s vehicle and moved to the inside lane, striking a vehicle driven by Kevin Sherman Strong, 42, of Quincy. No injuries or citations were reported to the three drivers whose vehicles all sustained damage.
12/22/21 – 4:44 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested James Carroll Kensett IV, 31, of Keokuk, in the 1500 block of 7th Street, on a warrant for willful injury – bodily injury. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
12/22/21 – 8:04 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Natasha Louise McCarty, 35, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on 2 warrants for failure to appear and one warrant for possession of less than 5 grams methamphetamine. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/22/21 – 9:05 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Bryce James Card, 26, of Burlington, on Hwy. 61 South, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on his own recognizance.
12/23/21 – 12:03 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Terry Marvin Stewart, Jr., 27, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff’s office, on a charge of violating a domestic no-contact order. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/23/21 – 8:59 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Austin Michael Huffman, 30, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for violation of probation. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
12/23/21 – 1:04 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Isaiah James Rutter, 34, of Fort Madison, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
12/23/21 – 2:28 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Danny Earl Lamma, Jr., 22, of Keokuk, at the intersection of Plank Road and Messenger Road, on a charge of driving while barred. He was cited and released.
12/23/21 – 8:23 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Taj Michael Kite, 32, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of Main Street and Village Drive, on a charge of driving while barred. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on his own recognizance.
12/24/21 – 7:42 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested James Paul Dean Burleson, 26, of Keokuk, on Blondeau Street, on charges of fraudulent use of registration, no nsurance, driving while barred, and interference with official acts. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later transferred to another county.
12/24/21 – 12:30 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Chad William Ackley, 46, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for pretrial release violation. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/24/21 – 3:29 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested My Hanh Nguyen, 50, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for pretrial release violation. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/25/21 – 9:11 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jakob Lewis Corral, 18, of Fort Madison, on a warrant for willful injury – bodily injury and a charge of fugitive from justice. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/26/21 – 12:29 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on east Hwy. 2. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Robert Alan Conlon, 68, of Donnellson, was traveling east on Hwy. 2 when a vehicle driven by Rachel Ann Newman, 24, of Des Moines, pulled away from the stop sign at the bottom of the northbound offramp from Hwy. 27 and struck Conlon’s vehicle. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene. Newman was cited for failure to yield upon entering through highway.
12/27/21 – 12:53 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2000 block of 303rd Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle driven by David Lee Davis, 60, of Burlington, was traveling westbound on 303rd Avenue when the trailer he was pulling drifted into the gravel and began to fishtail. Davis lost control of the vehicle and it rolled into the south side ditch. The vehicle sustained approx. $1500 in damage and had to be towed from the scene. No injuries or citations were reported.
12/27/21 – 1:15 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Robert Lee Hicks, 50, of Hamilton, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail and Q???
12/27/21 – 1:34 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Brittany Nichole Saltzman, 30, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of North Park Drive, on warrants for unauthorized credit card use of less than $1500 and burglary in the 2nd degree, 4 charges of possession of a controlled substance, and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to Lee County Jail and later released P???? > I have emailed Amy to ask what this represents.

Hancock County Sheriff report
12/20/21 – Dalton W Branham, age 28, of Warsaw, IL was arrested and charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery. Branham remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.
12/21/21 – Christopher H Dennis, age 45, of Augusta, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Aggravated Domestic Battery. Dennis remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.
12/21/21 – Tehya R G Smith, age 21 , of Carthage, IL was given a Notice to Appear at a future court date for Speeding.
12/21/21 – Mary A Walker, age 58, of Keokuk, IA was given a Notice to Appear at a future court date for Operating Uninsured Vehicle.
12/22/21 – Larry C Nelson, age 47, of Warsaw, IL was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. Nelson remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.
12/22/21 – Marcus D Gilpin, age 38, of Hamilton, IL was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. Gilpin was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
12/22/21 – Joe B Cleveland, age 37, of Augusta, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Improper Display of Registration, and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Cleveland remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail.
12/23/21 – Addam M Windbigler, age 38, of Nauvoo, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Violation of Order of Protection. Windbigler was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
12/23/21 – Andrew J Stout, age 35, of West Burlington, IA was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear/ Failure to Pay on original charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Stout was also arrested on a Henderson County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Driving While Under the Influence. Stout was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
12/23/21 – Cody R Avery, age 28, of Hamilton, IL was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Avery was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
12/23/21 – Diamond J Bence, age 33, of Warsaw, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on original charges of Driving While License Suspended. Bence remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting her next court appearance.
12/23/21 – Buddy L Caulkins, age 22, of Warsaw, IL was given a Notice to Appear at a future court date for Operating Uninsured Vehicle.
12/25/21 – Stacey L Thompson, age 44, of Plymouth, IL was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. Thompson remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting her next court appearance.
12/26/21 – Tracy A Herman, age 58, of West Point, IL was arrested on an Adams County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Driving While License Revoked. Herman was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
