Central Lee's Robinson named to 1A All-State team

Snaadt joins Hawks on all-district team.

DONNELLSON - Central Lee’s Adelyn Robinson ranked as one of the state’s top goalkeepers, and that was reflected on the Iowa Girls Coaches Association all-state teams.
Robinson was a selection on the Class 1A all-state team after ranking ninth in the state with an 81.7 save percentage. She allowed 60 goals, but made 268 saves.
Robinson joined teammates Bella Tweedy, Ellie Lake, Riley Gregory, and Fort Madison’s Teagan Snaadt on the all-district teams.

Snaadt, the Southeast Conference’s player of the year, was named to the Class 2A East all-district team. She had a team-high 36 goals, which was also 14th best in the state, and ranked third on the team with 11 assists.
Robinson, Tweedy, Lake and Gregory were named to the 1A Southeast team.
Lake led the Hawks with 15 goals. Tweedy was a senior midfielder and Gregory was a senior defender who was also the team’s backup goalkeeper.
Among area high schools, Mediapolis’ Camryn Bailey was a 1A all-state selection. Bailey was an all-district selection, as was Columbus’ Iris Garza and Naveiah Garcia along with Mount Pleasant’s Eli Heaton and Sonya Simon, Fairfield’s Emma Metcalf and Washington’s Angeline Anderson. Burlington’s Hunter Pender was named to the 2A East all-district team.
