02/22/24 – Fort Madison police had no activity to report.

Keokuk Police Report
02/15/24 – 3:08 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a three-vehicle accident in the 400 block of Messenger Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Kyla M. Muston, 18, of Keokuk struck the back end of a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old juvenile whose name was withheld by the KPD. That vehicle in turn struck the back end of another vehicle driven by Taylor Illamae Reann Sangster, 29, of Keokuk. The juvenile was transferred to SEI Regional Medical Center for treatment. No other injuries or citations were reported.
02/19/24 – 6:09 p.m. – Keokuk Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 300 block of Boulevard Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Renee Diane McKnight, 63, of Keokuk attempted to turn left onto Washington Street. A vehicle driven by Katelyn Marie Grisham, 27, of Keokuk, was stopped westbound at Washington and Boulevard. McKnight’s vehicle side swiped Grisham on the turn. McKnight was cited for failure to maintain control. No injuries were reported and the vehicles were driven from the scene.
02/20/24 – 1:18 p.m. – Keokuk Police responded to a report of a property damage accident at Boulevard Road and Main Street.
02/20/24 – 10:10 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Candace Yvonne Weddle, 30, of Luray, Mo, in the 800 block of Johnson Street Road on a warrant for comtempt of court and charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.
02/22/24 - 7:48 a.m. - Keokuk Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2200 block of Middle Road.
02/22/24 - 12:04 p.m. - Keokuk Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1400 block of Des Moines Street.
02/22/24 - 12:28 p.m. - Keokuk Police cited Ryan Thomas Lilly, 24, of Mt. Pleasant, in the 1400 block of Des Moines Street on charges of attempted burglary and 5th-degree theft.
02/22/24 - 5:01 p.m. - Keokuk Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 700 block of Palean Street.
02/22/24 - 10:06 p.m. - Keokuk Police arrested Courtney Allen Kellum, 40, of Keokuk, in the 1400 block of Main Street, on charges of driving while barred, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with official acts, and possession of marijuana. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

Lee County Sheriff Report
02/22/24 – 3:08 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Tyree Omar Tillman, 29, of Hamilton, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on warrants for speeding, failure to use seat belt – adult, failure to maintain control, no valid driver's license, 2nd offense OWI, and reckless driving. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

02/19/24 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to four medical calls, one assist
02/20/24 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to seven medical calls, two lift assists and one vehicle accident.
02/21/24 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to two medical calls and one false alarm.
02/22/24 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to six medical calls one lift assist.
