08/17/23 – 11:09 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Scott Darron Mohr, 56, of Davenport, on Hwy. 61 N. mile marker 25, Fort Madison, on a charge of driving while barred. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/18/23 – 8:41 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Joshua Brud Seymour, 42, of Nauvoo, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for pretrial release violation. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.

08/21/23 – 1:55 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Angela Nicole Nelson, 45, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for violation of probation. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/21/23 – No time reported – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested  a 15-year-old juvenile from Keokuk on a charge of 3rd degree criminal mischief. The juvenile was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
08/22/23 – 9:36 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 2100 block of Franklin Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Marichu Nopra Sokpe, 51, of Iowa City, was traveling southbound in the 2100 block of Franklin Road when it lost control due to loose gravel, fishtailed, and went into the west-side ditch. No injuries or citations were reported. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
08/23/23 – 9:30 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Matthew Kristian Smith, 26, of Danville, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/24/23 – 2:55 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Sierra Marie Barta, 21, of Keokuk, in the 1600 block of 100th Avenue, Farmington, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance – 1,2,3rd. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/25/23 – 9:36 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested April Dawn Howard, 39, of Burlington, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on warrants for voluntary absence from custoday and judgment entry/mittmus. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/25/23 – 2:30 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Cody Rubert Hellweg, 36, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on time served.
08/25/23 – 3:29 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested David Eugene Rogers, 38, of Keokuk, in the 1700 block of Hwy. 61, Wever, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court and a charge of being a fugitive from justice. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/26/23 – 11:14 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Steven Fitzgerald Hawkins, 54, of West Burlington, at the sheriff's office, on a temporary hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/26/23 – 11:29 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Marc Anthony Dumas, 46, of Burlington, at the sheriff's office, on a temporary hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/26/23 – 3:44 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a 3-vehicle accident at 255th Street and Hwy. 218. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Sarah Noel Raabe, 25, of Missouri, was traveling westbound on 255th Street and was stopped at a controlled intersection of 255th Street and Hwy. 218; A vehicle driven by Robert Eugene Tomow, 32, of Mount Pleasant was traveling southbound on Hwy. 218; and a vehicle driven by Timothy John Keithley, 36, of Burlington,  was stopped at a stop sign on 255th Street heading eastbound. Raabe continued through the intersection and was struck by Tomow which caused Raabe's vehicle to spin in the intersection and strike Keithley's vehicle.  No injuries were reported. Raabe was cited for failure to yield right of way and operating with a fraudulent registration. All 3 vehicles sustained disabling damages and were driven from the scene.
08/26/23 – 9:18 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Andrew Jack Williams, 36, listed as homeless in Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on 3 warrants for failure to appear and a charge of being a fugitive from justice. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/27/23 – 1:00 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2800 block of 180th Street. A vehicle struck a utility pole causing $2,500 damage after losing control. The driver had left the scene and the vehicle was reported stolen the following day.
08/27/23 – 11:18 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a 2-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Argyle Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Georgeann Chalcraft, 70, of Illinois, was traveling southbound on Hwy. 61 when a vehicle driven by Makenzie Lynn Ladd, 24, of Keokuk, entered the cross over, yielded, and then pulled out, causing Chalcraft to swerve off the road, striking a stop sign, and entering a ditch. Occupants of Chalcraft's vehicle complained of minor injuries, but refused treatment; Ladd was uninjured. Ladd was cited for failure to yield right of way before entering intersection and warned for obstructed view. Chalcraft's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
