06/11/23 – 3:49 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 3400 block of Hwy. 27. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Trina Sue Hassis-Arp, 49, of Williamsburg, was traveling northbound in the 3400 block of Hwy. 27 when it struck a construction barrier. No injuries or citations were reported. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

According to the report, a vehicle driven by Samuel John Benjamin, 57, of Urbandale, was driving down a lane in 180th Street, missed the end of the lane, skidded across the lane, and into the south ditch. No injuries or citations were reported. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.

06/15/23 – 11:29 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested David Anthony Hernandez, 52, of Montrose, in the 100 block of Main Street, Montrose, on a charge of 1st offense domestic abuse assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
06/16/23 – 6:43 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 2800 block of County Road 103. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Joshua Allen Lee, 19, of Burlington, was traveling westbound on County Road 103 when the driver lost control of the vehicle and went in to the north ditch. No injuries were reported. Lee was cited for failure to maintain control. Lee's vehicle sustained disabling damages and had to be towed from the scene.
06/16/23 – 1:05 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested John Adam Wiggins, 39, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a judgment hold warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
06/16/23 – 4:45 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Justin Kurt McFadden, 34, of West Point, in the 1800 block of Otte Road, West Point, on a charge of 3rd degree harassment. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on his own recognizance.
06/17/23 – 10:59 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Austin Lee Smith, 32, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment hold warrant and a warrant for voluntary absence from custody. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
06/18/23 – 9:42 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 2900 block of 180th Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Quinton Edward Seth, 28, of Argyle, was traveling north in the 2900 block of 180th Avenue when a vehicle swerved, passing his vehicle and entering  a ditch. Seth attempted to turn left into a driveway, not seeing a vehicle driven by Kegan Jordan Damico, 16, of Keokuk, traveling south on 180th Avenue. Seth's vehicle struck Damico's vehicle. Damico complained of minor injuries, but was not transported. No other injuries were reported. Seth was cited for failure to yield upon making a left turn. Both vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene.
