07/07/23 – 11:33 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 5000 block of Avenue O.
07/07/23 – 12:13 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit & run in the 900 block of 2nd Street.

07/10/23 – 6:14 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1800 block of Avenue H.
07/11/23 – 12:07 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Roger William Evans, 44, of Fort Madison, at Avenue D and 15th Street, on a charge of 1st offense OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/11/23 – 7:54 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 700 block of 13th Street.
07/11/23 – 9:23 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 900 block of 29th Street.
07/11/23 – 5:03 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Lance Edward Meredith, 45, of Fort Madison, in the 1500 block of Avenue M, on a warrant for voluntary absence from custody. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/11/23 – 9:28 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2200 block of Avenue F.

Lee County Sheriff Report
07/08/23 – 12:44 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Teresa Joann Bechtolt, 64, of Missouri, in the 2200 block of County Rd. 103, Fort Madison, on charges of 1st offense OWI, child endangerment, open container - driver 21+ YOA, speeding, and improper use of lanes. She was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a pre-trial release.
07/08/23 – 4:53 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Isaiah James Rutter, 35, of Fort Madison, in the 1900 block of Avenue G, on a warrant for disorderly conduct - threat. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
07/09/23 – 11:17 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Darren Mitchell Monroe, 47, of Keokuk, in the 235th Avenue of Argyle Road, Keokuk, on charges of 1st offense OWI, failure to obey stop sign/yield row, and failure to maintain control. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a promise to appear.
07/09/23  – 11:31 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile from Ottumwa, at the Lee County Jail, on a charge of 5th degree criminal mischief. He was referred to juvenile court.
07/10/23 – 2:32 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested David Wayne Dereus, Jr., 37, of Davenport, in the 700 block of Avenue E, Fort Madison, on 2 warrants for felony forgery and one warrant for 2nd degree theft greater than $1500 less than $10000. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/10/23 – 6:59 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Roderick Vaughn Taylor Rice, 44, of Burlington, in the 800 block of Valley Road, Burlington, on a charge of violation of probation. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/10/23 – 8:05 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Chanel Nicolette Hardeman, 36, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment hold warrant. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/11/23 – 4:50 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Christopher Michael Sanderson, 50, listed as homeless living in Keokuk, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for 5th degree theft less than $300. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
