Fort Madison Police Report
09/06/23 – 2:32 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a  report of a property damage accident at 18th Street and Avenue N.
09/06/23 – 10:19 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a  report of a property damage accident in the 2000 block of 303rd Avenue.
09/06/23 – 11:15 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jonathan David Isaac Horn, 23, of Fort Madison, in the 2100 block of 303rd Avenue, on charges of possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd and an undisclosed warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
09/07/23 – 12:15 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Alexis Louise Garretson, 18, of Burlington, in the 2000 block of 203rd Avenue, on charges of 1st offense – possession of alcohol under age, public intoxication, and possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
09/07/23 – 7:13 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a  report of vandalism in the 4600 block of Avenue J.

Lee County Sheriff Report
09/06/23 – 3:23 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Anthony Lamar Baker, 52, of West Burlington, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a charge of failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
09/06/23 – 3:29 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident at Hwy. 16 & Hwy. 218. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Roger John Menke, 63, of Bonaparte, was traveling southbound near the intersection of Hwys. 16 & 218 when the vehicle left the roadway, entered the median, went airborne into a creek area, struck the creek embankment, and spun. Menke suffered critical injuries and was transported to Henry County Hospital. No citations were reported. Menke's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
09/06/23 – 5:47 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Ezra Justis Farmer, 25, of West Point, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Those listed above are arrested on suspicion of a charge and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
