Griffin heats up in 4th quarter as Holy Trinity downs Notre Dame

BURLINGTON – Adalyn Kruse and Teagan Snaadt helped HTC keep their unbeaten season intact Friday night combining for 28 points in the Lady Crusaders 43-39 win over Burlington Notre Dame at Father Minnett Gymnasium.
The Crusaders stand tied atop the SEI Superconference South division with Mediapolis. The Bulldogs are 5-0 and 8-0 on the season. HTC is 5-0 in conference play and 7-0 on the year. The two will meet in the first week after the break on Jan 7. Holy Trinity opens the new year on Jan. 3 at New London.
The Crusaders scored 18 in the final eight minutes to pull out another win before the break. It was just their second road win of the season.
Elizabeth Griffin stepped up in the fourth quarter to help the Crusaders to the win with three 3-pointers for her nine points on the night.
Kruse had 16 and Snaadt finished with a dozen. Anna Bendlage has six for HTC.
