Paul J. Crutchfield, 70, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 8:12 AM at his home.
He was born on April 12, 1956 in Chillicothe, IL to William and Jackie Crutchfield. On May 17, 1980 Paul married Pamela Hauck in Ft. Madison and she passed away on June 11, 2012. After high school he served in the US Air Force. Paul worked at JI Case and retired in 2011 after thirty years of service. He loved motorcycles and traveled extensively on them. He also enjoyed working on motorcycles and vehicles and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his son, Keith (Ashley) Crutchfield of Ft. Madison; his daughter, Kelly (Jacob) Moon of West Point; five grandchildren, Paige Dettmers, Bryan and Jonathan Crutchfield, Ella and Nora Moon; two sisters, Marcia (Alan) Kash of West Bloomfield, MI and Martha (Paul) Boyle of Peoria,IL; one brother, Jaris Crutchfield of Orlando, FL nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his sister, Jil Schuetz.
Cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21 at 1 PM at Oakland Cemetery with Shelly Dowling officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com
