Victoria “Vickie” L. Lightfoot, 77, of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 6:56 AM at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Ft. Madison.
She was born on February 22, 1947 in Ft. Madison to Fredrick and Vola Mae Pumphrey Weisinger, Jr. Vickie married Gary Lightfoot on March 18, 1967 in Ft. Madison. Vickie was a member of Denmark Congregational United Church of Christ and was very community minded and volunteered for many functions. She enjoyed playing cards, socializing, watching her birds and cooking. Most of all Vicki loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her two great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Lightfoot; two sons, Johnny Lightfoot and Ryan (Amy) Lightfoot all of Ft. Madison; four grandchildren, Darian (Kaisa) Lightfoot, Jarrett Lightfoot, Cody (Olivia) Smith and Sierra Smith; two great grandchildren, Hazel and Hudson Smith; one brother, Randy (Debbie) Weisinger of Ft. Madison; nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved dog, Billie. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery.
