Timothy Lee Hattan, 61, of Farmington, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
He was born on September 14, 1965 in Spring Valley, Illinois, the son of Melvin and Patricia (Smith) Hattan. On June 18, 2009 he married Tina R. McIntosh at the United Church of Christ in Burlington, Iowa, she preceded him in death on March 10, 2022.
Survivors include his son Timothy Lee Hattan Jr.; two daughters: Taryn Renee Hattan, Savannah Ashleigh Hattan; mother Patricia Isham; three grandchildren: Matthew Bihn-Hattan, Novalynn Bihn-Hattan, Braxton Hattan; and one sister Karen Hattan. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Melvin; wife Tina; one grandchild Rylan Lee Bihn-Hattan; two brothers: David P. Hattan, Brendon S. Hattan; one nephew Calvin Lukus; and mother and father-in-law: Ron and Sandy McIntosh.
Tim was a member of Apostolic Faith Church in Keokuk. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed woodworking and going on walks.
His body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz Funeral Home for cremation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
