LETTS – The Central Lee boys' and girls' track teams got outdoors Monday night at the Columbus Invitational held at Louisa-Muscatine.
The boys finished 4th out of 8 teams while the girls took 5th place.
Both squads earned two first-place finishes. Kegan Damico won the high jump with a 6’0” leap, and won the 400-meter hurdles at 1:00.15.
For the girls, Allison Gruntmeir won the high jump at 4’8”, and Aubrey Weber won the discus with a spin of 98’4”.
Ostyn Moore was second in the shotput with a heave of 39’4” for the Hawks, while Macy Anderson was runner-up in the 3000 meter run at 13:28.54, and Kylie Fortune was second in the high jump behind Gruntmeir at 4’6” for the Lady Hawks.

•3rd- Sprint Medley (Blake Davis, Evan Fogarty, Brett Cook, and Kaidin Humes) with 1:46.76.
•3rd- Brayden Wyrick in the 400m Dash with 55.16.
•3rd- 4x200 (Kain Arrowood, Davis, Will Ferris, and Fogarty) with 1:43.36.
•3rd- Cook in the 800m Run with 2:13.32.
•3rd- 4x100 (Damico, Blake Davis, Fogarty, and Luke Kruse) with 47.22.
GIRLS
•3rd- Shuttle Hurdle Relay (Gruntmeir, Ava Washburn, Julia Fraise, and Kaylie Peterson) with 1:22.25.
